The most important thing you should keep in mind is site load time. Although you may have a attractive site with high quality contents, if the site loading time is more then you will find it difficult to hold your visitors. And if your site loading time is more Google may also mind too. To know your site load time you can use Google’s Speed Checker Tool.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR SITE FAST?

If you follow the following tips, In Sha Allah, I hope u can increase make your site fast.

 

Use less JavaScript:

The disadvantage of JavaScript is ,it may make your site slow. It is true that you have to use JavaScript, but use as less as possible.

And use JavaScript before the closing body tag instead of at the top.

 

Use good theme or template:

Be careful while selecting theme. Don’t use theme which have unwanted code, which may slow down your site.

 

 

Picture format

For the pictures which you are using in your site, use popular file format. Don’t use unwanted file format. In this case , my favorites are JPG, PNG and GIF file format.

 

Minimize the use of widget:

Don’t use many widgets. If you fill your site with extra widgets, not only your site will become slow also your visitors will lose concentration from your posts.

 

Don’t use more Ads:

Be careful while using Ads. If you go for earning money by using more Ads. Then you will lose your visitors and also it will make your site slow.

 

Avoid using Pop up Ads and widgets:

Never Use popup ads and widgets. Popup ads are responsible for slow site. Also it is not a user friendly term.

 

Use correct image size:

Don’t use such image which is bigger than main structure of your site. So, be careful while using image.

 

Use “Read More” link:

Don’t show the whole post on you main page. Show only few lines and give “Read More “link.  It will minimize the pressure on your home page.

 

Keep fewer posts on home page:

Try to keep fewer posts on home page. You may keep 5 to 10 posts. Rest of the posts you can show by ‘Older Posts” navigation post.
